Illusions of what we are in reality are illusions of our mind.
This collection was inspired by realizing that we are all a bit crazing in our thinking. There is no right or wrong in our mind but what we have been taught in the past that we have to come to a realization. The mind plays with our being and our being with our Soul.
A collection of poems is expressing in words a vital freshness of love and loss, happiness and desire, black or white, darkness to light, beauty and ugliness. Once we overcome certain obstacles in our lives we can reach deep into the unknown of our minds to find the Illusions we are.
Dimitra Gheorghiou in one of her seminars quoted “I have realized now that my life and everything around me is an Illusion. An illusion of everything we treasure.”

Illusions are what we have within our minds and souls!
The Illusion is a state of misleading impressions of reality.
Love is an illusion of feelings of love. I wonder sometimes if love is an illusion, but then I believe it may be true in my world. I believe that life is an illusion in itself even though I may be going crazy in my mind. We live in a state of mind that is in the reality of the mind.
My illusion is me!

This collection was created to as a visual art in words to understand what illusion is about, how a minds function.
This is a first in the Trilogy Illusions Poetry Collection.

Although an avid reader I rarely review the books I've read, I have made an exception in this case. I believe that whereas a novel takes you to different times and different lands, a poem takes you deep into the core of the poet and this collection is no exception.I have known the author for many years, a strong highly principled woman with a passion for life and an almost childlike enthusiasm and unfailing optimism.
This is not just a book of poems, it is a glimpse into the heart and mind of the author, a rare collection of thoughts and emotions that reflect the uniqueness that is Dimitra.
One must look beyond the grammatical transgressions to the raw emotion beneath, but if ever a book accurately reflected its authors mind and soul completely, then I can honestly say, this is it.
